Yesterday I was eating dinner with my friend and we started talking about quantum physics. Casual, I know. In an attempt to explain it to my not-primed-for-physics brain, she tried to describe an experiment which quantum physicists created to examine how light behaves. Notice I said tried... I definetly was not getting it. But later that night she sent me a video featuring Dr. Quantum, renowned animated physicist.
Blew. My. Mind. Essentially, Dr. Quantum explained that light only behaves a certain way when it is observed. Think "if a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it, did it really make a sound?" Quick side-note: I forgot how that phrase was worded and googled it. Guess what it relates to... QUANTUM THEORY. WHATTT? I honestly still cannot wrap my head around this. I have so many questions too:

So I watched the video and that really is crazy...I would've never known that about light. You taught me something that I'll be pondering on for a long time now. I'm not really a science girl but your post was relatable and I liked how you showed your thought process.
